The Sigma Alpha National Service Committee and National Sorority Board are excited to introduce our redefined national philanthropy program.
Agriculture in the Community is a philanthropy that allows members to give back and pay it forward by sharing the word of agriculture. Whether sisters speak in a classroom, hold an informational session, or create and distribute flyers about our food system, they are spreading a positive message of agriculture and building bridges between producers and consumers.
The purpose of Sigma Alpha Sorority's national philanthropy is to share agricultural experiences with members of our community while strengthening the relationships between the agricultural industry and consumers.
Examples of audiences include, but are not limited to: peers on campus, local K-12 students, inner city groups, local and state organizations, extension programs, commodity associations, 4-H, FFA, etc.
