Meet the Chapter Consultants

The Sigma Alpha Chapter Consultant program exists to:

  • Offer consistent and timely delivery of Sorority services, resources and communications.
  • Provide a consistent and timely review and evaluation of chapter activities for compliance with the Sorority’s mission, objective and policies.
  • Support, mentor and guide collegiate chapter officers in the performance of their duties.


Sierra Talley
Region 1: OR, ID, CA, AZ

Sierra graduated from Colorado State University in 2016 with her bachelor's degree in equine science and a minor in business administration. She was the public relations director for the Nu Chapter for two and half years, along with volunteering to be a recruitment coach for Panhellenic Recruitment and working for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life to help promote her chapter to gain a better presence on campus. She spends her time as the cafe supervisor for Miramont Lifestyle Fitness in Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoying the wonders Colorado has to offer with her yellow lab, Aspen.


Kate Hadley
Region 2: CO, WY, ND, SD, WI

Kate graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She was an active member of the Gamma Chapter where she served on the executive board for two years. After obtaining her master's degree in 2014 in crop and soil science, Kate loaded up her truck and drove half way across North America to pursue a career as an agronomist in western Canada. Kate currently works in the golden (canola) fields as a Dekalb agronomist for Monsanto in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In her free time, she enjoys playing hockey, curling, shooting sporting clays, and duck hunting with her black lab, Beau.


JaymeLee Ewing
Region 3: NE, IA, KS, MO

JaymeLee graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2016 with a bachelor's degree in animal science and minors in agribusiness management and scieneering: science, technology and law. She is from the beautiful mountains of Virginia. While being an active member of the Pi Chapter, she served as both treasurer and president. JaymeLee is currently a management trainee for Smithfield Foods, and lives in Smithfield, VA.


Alacyn Cox
Region 4: TX, AR

Alacyn graduated from Purdue University in May of 2017, with a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering. During her time at Purdue, she served the Beta Chapter as their president and treasurer. Her love for tractors and all things farm equipment has landed her in her current role at John Deere. Alacyn's currently residing in Waterloo, IA but because she's part of the company's marketing representative program, she won't be there for long! Soon enough, this Midwestern woman will be embracing her inner 'southern girl' as she moves to Florida temporarily and visits Texas and Arkansas for chapter visits.


Lisa Ecker
Region 5: IL, MI, IN, OH, PA

Lisa graduated from University of Wisconsin - River Falls in May of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in agriculture engineering technology. She served numerous roles during her collegiate career, including social chair, CPC representative, formal chair and Greek week chair at the Beta Delta Chapter. She now works for GEA Engineering in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Lisa is also active in the University of Wisconsin - River Falls Alumnae Chapter.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world, ballet and studio dancing, and hiking.  


Jade Halliburton
Region 6: LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, NC, FL

Jade graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2015 where she served as charter member, vice president and philanthropy chair to the Beta Rho Chapter. In May of 2017 she received her master's degree from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) where she researched agricultural education and studied abroad. When she isn't working with chapters, you can find Jade at her home down in the Big Easy, feeding her inner foodie or listening to live music.


Emily Bartusiak
Region 7: KY, TN, WV

Emily graduated from Purdue University in May of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minor in management, honors college. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in electrical engineering at Purdue University. She served the Beta Chapter as treasurer, Founders Day committee chair and social chair. She is an alumna of the Purdue Alumnae Chapter. Emily has been playing the violin since 2nd grade and she is a Girl Scout for life (she earned the Girl Scout Gold Award).


 April Burg
Region 8: VA, MD, DE, CT, RI, NH, NY

April graduated from the University of Delaware in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in food and agribusiness marketing and management. She served the Alpha Kappa Chapter as 2nd vice president and represented Sigma Alpha as both founding member and public relations chair for the Special Interest Greek Council. She is currently serving her second term as a consultant for Region 8. When she is not feeding her love for food and cooking, April works in supply chain and distribution for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.
