Farmer-to-Farmer Opportunity through CNFA

CNFA was founded on the principle that empowering people economically gives them the tools and confidence they need to change their lives. The organization is committed to providing economic opportunities to entrepreneurs in developing countries, where far too many people live in poverty and enterprises often fail simply because they do not have the tools they need to succeed.

One program they offer is Farmer-to-Farmer, which allows volunteers to provide host organizations—usually farms, processors or other agricultural enterprises—with practical short-term technical assistance. The two-to-four-week-long projects range from training associated service providers and agribusinesses in financial management, marketing, cooperative development, agricultural production, post-harvest and processing technologies, international quality standards and rural finance. Professional Fraternity Association Award Applications due April 1

The Professional Fraternity Association (PFA) mission is to be the trusted resource for educating and serving its members.  PFA supports professional fraternity and sorority member groups to preserve high standards on campus and in professional practice and maintains about 30 fraternal member groups and about 40 associate members (including Sigma Alpha Sorority).

PFA seeks to recognize and honor members of Sigma Alpha Sorority and other professional fraternal organizations through its annual award program. We encourage you to fill out the applications and submit them to Lisa Campion by April 1 National Sorority Board approval since our organization can only submit one application per category. The awards available to apply for are:
