The Sigma Alpha National Alumni Association oversees the activities of the Sigma Alpha alumni chapters, conducts activities of benefit to alumni, and sponsors programs benefiting fellow alumni sisters. The National Alumni Board was established in 1997 during the annual meeting in St. Louis, Missouri. The Board meets and acts on business items on behalf of the National Alumni Association.
There are several benefits to being a member of the National Alumni Association. The first is the opportunity to give back to the Sorority by serving as a National Board member, National Alumni Board member, Regional Consultant, committee member, Leadership Seminar facilitator, and/or mentor. The second is the opportunity to reach out to fellow alumni who are living careers in a wide variety of agricultural fields.
Becoming a Member
Joining the National Alumni Association is easy! Just fill out the National Alumni Association Membership Application and send in any specified dues to become a member:
Membership Form for Graduating Seniors Required dues: $0 or $50 (1st year only)
Membership Form for Alumni Required dues: $35 or $50
National Alumni membership dues and directory information forms are due by September 30th each year. However, even if you send them in after September 30th, you will receive all benefits (including regular newsletters, personal copy of the National Alumni Association directory, mailings, and access to the members-only section of this website) and will be included in an addendum to the directory, if one is published. Paid life members are asked to return their directory information forms to confirm information is still accurate.
Update Your Contact Information
Please make sure we have your correct mailing, phone and e-mail information. Simply e-mail document@sigmaalpha.org with your name (including maiden name), current and last addresses, undergraduate chapter, phone number and email address. If you have not received any mailings from Sigma Alpha in a long time, we probably do not have a good address for you, so please help us get back in touch!
