Every year the Sigma Alpha Foundation is dedicated to giving out scholarships and grants for Sigma Alpha Sorority members and chapters in support of their educational, professional, and leadership endeavors.

Who Can Apply: Any Sigma Alpha Collegiate member in good standing

In an effort to assist as many collegiate sisters as possible in participating in the 2023 Leadership Seminars, the Sigma Alpha Sorority Educational Foundation is offering Leadership Seminar registration Scholarships.

Applications can be submitted by any Sigma Alpha collegiate member in good standing with her chapter and nation Sorority.

Requirements

Applicants:

• Must be pre-registered for a 2023 Leadership Seminar to be considered.
• Must be a Sigma Alpha collegian in good standing.
• Scholarships will be presented following the Leadership Seminars in the form of a check mailed directly to each qualifying recipient.

Recipients:

• Must participate in a 2023 Leadership Seminar to receive the scholarship. Attendance will be confirmed prior to any check being mailed. Anyone recipient who does not actually attend a seminar will forfeit her scholarship.
• Send a thank you acknowledgment to scholarship sponsors. Contact name and address will be included with scholarship checks.

Sisters can complete the application in the ‘My Notifications’ section of the Greenhouse. 

National Conclave Scholarships

Who Can Apply: 1 per Sigma Alpha Collegiate or Alumnae Chapter

In an effort to help as many chapters as possible attend the 2022 National Conclave, the Sigma Alpha Sorority Educational Foundation is offering scholarships to Sigma Alpha collegiate and alumnae chapters who send at least one representative to the National Convention, and additional scholarships to newly chartered collegiate chapters who send at least one representative to the National Convention.

Who Can Apply: Sigma Alpha Collegiate Chapters, Alumnae Chapters

The Sigma Alpha Sorority Educational Foundation and Bayer encourage every Sigma Alpha Sorority Collegiate and Alumnae Chapter to enhance the professional skills of its collegiate members so they may obtain successful careers in the food, fiber and natural resources fields. To meet this goal, the Sigma Alpha Sorority Educational Foundation will provide funding to qualified chapters and individuals to help support educational programming in all areas of professional growth and development.
